I am always on the lookout for snacks for my children that are healthy. Healthy doesn’t mean that they can not be pleasing to the eyes of little ones though, and that is exactly what Snikiddy Snacks are for my children. We received three different varieties to try: Mac ‘N Cheese Puffs, Bold Buffalo Baked Fries, and Eat Your Vegetables in Sour Cream and Onion flavor. All of them proved worthy in the taste department to my two children that could enjoy them. My daughter is almost two years old and my son is six, so finding snacks that they can both eat at the same time is sometimes difficult.
The Mac ‘N Cheese Puffs were reminiscent of the Graduates puffs that you can get in the canisters that may last you one sitting if you have a little one that is addicted to them like my daughter is to the little snacks that melt in your mouth. I was happy to do my research on how much they cost (because we will be getting more!) and find out that a whole bag is about the same price as one of those little canisters. This was happiness to my heart and my wallet.
I was guilty of letting them eat the Mac ‘N Cheese Puffs for breakfast when they eyed them on the counter. They were just so enticing to their little eyes and they asked so nicely. How was I supposed to say no to something that is healthy for them and had hidden vegetables? As you can tell, my son is still in his pajamas in the picture I snapped of him. He is always willing to have his picture taken no matter what (even if they do always turn out a little silly!).
All three of these snacks are bold in flavor which was pleasantly surprising. I think I ate more of the Eat Your Vegetables variety than my kids did. They were just so darn good! My son had to tell me to please save some for them. Once they were demolished, he immediately asked me if we could go to the store to get more! They were so light and airy but still had all that flavor packed into them somehow. I can’t figure it out, but I know that we have a new addiction in the house. I can not be happier that my son can not completely read what the bag says. Best way to get your vegetables that tastes amazing that I have ever had. Specifically on the bag it notes that they are now made with kale. I wouldn’t be getting that particular vegetable any other way. There are eight different veggies packed into these small chips that delight your taste buds and there are also eight different flavors to choose from. So find your favorite or favorite them all!
I have to admit that I was a tiny bit nervous when it came to the Baked Fries just because the flavor said Bold Buffalo. I guess I was thinking wings and hot in my brain but it was actually a very deep barbecue flavor that was perfect for my kids. My husband got in on these and so they were immediately packed in his lunch that he took to work the next day. They packed just the right amount of punch that they had a grown man fall in love with them. Of course, my two year old daughter was delighted that I was letting her eat “fries”. Little did she know what she was really getting. These baked fries are a great alternative to the chips that everyone loves to eat. Skip the grease and head for a baked alternative with these that you will not regret.
Snikiddy Snacks is one of those brands that takes snacks that you are familiar with that are not so good for you, makes them healthy and they taste wonderful too. There is no way that you can beat something like this. You have to try them out for yourself. They have multiple other varieties than the ones that I have mentioned in this post and you can get them from Amazon by the case! You might want to do that because one bag is just not enough.
