Indoor games are an important part of our family life. Especially during the winter months, when the Midwest becomes cold, wet and the windchill is just pure unforgivable. One of our favorite past times is the art of playing board games as a family. It is truly magically who sitting around a table for an hour, playing and chatting can really bring everyone together.
Now that my boys are getting older, they like to participate in family game nights just as much as my daughters. So, I had to switch focus and find board games that were not only more age appropriate for the younger crowd but also boy friendly. Lucky for me companies, like Wonder Forge, offer a vast selection of true boy themes including superheros and popular TV show characters. One of our current favorite board games for boys is the Marvel Dominoes Game.

The dominoes themselves are a very sturdy cardboard that are large enough for even little hands. Keeping true to the age suggestion of 3+. However, even my 8 year old also enjoys playing every much with me.
Each game piece displays a set of 2 superhero either different or alike. The object of the same is the same as with original dominoes. Match the hero to one in play and the person who plays all of their dominoes first is the winner.
Time wise, this games goes by very fast. It should only take about 10 to 15 minutes from start to finish with just 2 or 3 players. This is ideal for the younger ones who don’t have a large attention span and also for times you are looking to play several rounds, so that everyone eventually wins a hand.
For those of you like us who like to camp, this is an excellent selection to take along. The box it comes in is compact and lightweight. So packing it in an overnight bag or backpack is a snap.
