Dora the Explorer is a positive roll model for young girls and we are proud to see her gymnastics line appear on Wal-Mart shelves. To see such an active figure promoting a healthier more active lifestyle is just another reason for parents like myself to love her.
Even as age 7 and 8, my girls still have very firm bond with Dora and Boots. They have watched them since they were tots. In fact the first Spanish words they learned, were from Dora and her friends. Adding the gymnastics theme to the Dora lifestyle will just continue to help grow that relationship with them.
The Dora Gymnastics Event will be held in participating Walmart stores from September 20th – September 23rd. There will be special in-store events; including a Dora Gymnastics doll demo and a chance to decorate your very own gymnastics show ribbon!

These will be indoor events that will be held in front of the Dora display in the toy aisle (there will be ribbon detailing), Dora doll demo and a chance to decorate your very own gymnastics show ribbon!. Again these events will be in select Walmart stores from 9/20-9/23 from 11AM-4PM and 1PM-6PM (9/23 only).
Several of the pieces included in the Dora the Explorer gymnastics event are even on my daughters holiday list {seen below}. Yes, they started compiling this list for Santa about 2 weeks ago. So you can most definitely find us at our local Wal-Mart during the Dora Gymnastics Event. It will be yet another chapter in our family, fun memories.
