What the momma thinks….
Since I took on a new active lifestyle at the end of 2011, I have experienced the worst in sore feet and calves after a run or long walk. I think I always knew that it was my shoes that were causing undue stress on these areas but had no way of proving it till recently when we took the Dawgs Spirit on a 5 day run test.
Day 1 was fierce and I was in pain. My feet like they were on fire. This is commonly known to me as the break in period and happens with every pair of shoes I try. On a positive note, my feet remained fairly dry which on a typical outdoor adventure such as this, I would see damp toes at the end.
Day 2 and 3, the pain was minimized and I felt like I would on any other stroll around the neighborhood. I even went a little further than usual and had the same dry after experience.
Day 4, 5 and on has been like an amazing dream. While there is still the pull from my extended workout, my feet feel surprisingly well. I still get the same snug fit as the first time I tried them own but they seem to have formed to my needs.
I am sold on the stay dry features and light as air feel. I feel zero weight on my legs when wearing Dawgs Spirit. I have even ventured into wearing them during my home 30 minute workout routine. They hold up well and move like butter. I most definitely will be investing in a few more pair.
