Parents don’t need to worry about wasting gas the next time their baby feels the need for a ride (or two) around the block! They can keep the car in park and give their baby a soothing, “ride in the car” experience with the new Fisher-Price Cruisin’ Motion Soother!
The Cruisin’ Motion Soother, with Cruiz Ride Motion™, gives baby that simulated, soothing, ride-in-the-car-feeling from the comfort of the living room, complete with realistic sound effects like rain falling on the windows, the swish of the windshield wipers or even the blowing wind as cars pass by.
The innovative Cruisin’ Motion Soother holds newborns up to 25 lbs., features eight songs, nature sounds and volume adjust and comes in two colors – blue, green/yellow and pink.
In addition to the gentle pulsing motion and deep seat with soft fabric and an adjustable head snuggler for comfort, baby will be entertained by a toybar that features a rear view mirror for babies to see themselves, a little car with a spinning ball and even baby’s first set of clacker keys! The Cruisin’ Motion Soother also features a machine washable pad, 3-point restraint and non-skid feet.
What the momma thinks….
First things first, if you build it they will come but if it is too hard to build, it will be tossed away forever. With this being said I LOVE the 8 screws in, add cover and toys simple build of the Fisher-Price Cruisin’ Motion Soother. I actually put this together all by myself in less than 15 minutes. Also I did it while my hubby napped in the room open to the dining area. Meaning it was super quiet as well. Successful building is so sweet when it comes to baby products.
Once the Fisher-Price Cruisin’ Motion Soother was ready to go, I immediately placed attention to the calming blue design and soft texture of the seat cover. I can only imagine the heaven my little one will be in riding along in this luxury. It reminds me of silk when I rub my hand across the seat surface. Why can’t it come in mommy size? The cover is also washable and easy to remove. Plus, plus for the clean-ability.
Then as I drift from cloud lala land, I notice how classicly simple the toys are. There is a center mirror for baby to admire themselves in, a set of three colorful textured keys and finally my favorite a smiling yellow car with rattling beads. Note they are also cannot be removed. So no worries of wild hands gripping and pulling these off on top of our precious passengers. This is an excellent safety feature I would like to see more of in this style of toybar.
Fisher-Price Cruisin’ Motion Soother can be placed into motion by pressing a single button. The motion simulates the ride of a car which many babies enjoy early on in life. I know all of my children would almost instantly fall asleep when I took to the road and it is nice to see a product that allows me to provide them with this soothing motion in the privacy of my own home.
You also have the option of 8 songs and 2 soundtracks for baby’s enjoyment. With this comes volume control which is a wise addition. I know I do not care for louder sounds/music but some parents like to have more sound/noise going as baby plays and sleeps. To each their own and Fisher Price was smart to provide this feature so that both sides of parenting can be happy in the decision to purchase. In addition to the variety and volume, the Cruisin’ Motion Soother will play for 20 minutes uninterrupted.
In the end at 64.99 retail, this is a smart buy for parents. It is light weight making it easy for travel. After removing the toybar the Cruisin’ Motion Soother is 14″ tall, 18″ wide and 25″ long making it small enough for closet storage without hassle. However I do suggest investing in rechargeable batteries since this piece is (4 D) battery operated.
