I have such a hard time driving after dark simply because I cannot see. I recently bought new, very expensive headlight bulbs in hopes that I would be able to see. I was highly disappointed. So when the opportunity came to review Sylvanias’ headlight restoration kit and their SilverStar ULTRA bulbs I was super excited. The restoration kit restores clarity, increases visibility and safety, and improves appearance and and increases value, while the bulbs increase visibility down the road by up to 40% and peripheral visibility by up to 50%! The SilverStar ULTRA is the brightest bulbs in Sylvania’s product line. We started by using the restoration kit.

As you can see in the photos above, my lens covers were very dirty. The first image is the passenger side cover, untreated. The second is the treated driver side cover. There’s a world of difference!! The kit was really simple to use and definitely well worth it! Did you know that restoring your headlights lenses increases the value of your car? The newer the car looks, the more it’s worth!
We followed up by installing the new bulbs. AKA: The brightest halogen bulb on the market. Very true to their name!

Installation was easy and only took minutes. I live in a very rural area and there are very few if any street lights, so when driving at night it can be difficult. With the variety of animals including deer I need the best of the best when it comes to headlight bulbs. I can now comfortably say that that’s what I’ve got! After taking a test drive down the road after dark I could see much further in front of me and even off to the sides where the deer like to hang out. I am very pleased with Sylvania’s products and highly recommend them to anyone looking for replacement bulbs or a clearer lens.
