Mommy + Me Under the Tree AVEENO Giveaway

On the fifth day of Christmas, Mom Powered Media brought to me a calming box full of Aveeno for “Mommy + Me Under the Tree”!

Dermatologist, Dr. Whitney Bowe’s tips to use skin care to help your baby sleep:

I only use Aveeno Baby products on my 1 year old daughter.  As a new mom, I quickly learned that an evening ritual (bath, massage, books, bed) helped to ease my daughter into a deep sleep that would last the entire night.  As a dermatologist, I knew which products to choose.

Here’s what I do:

Step 1: I give my daughter a lukewarm bath using AVEENO® Baby® CALMING COMFORT® Bath.  It’s very gentle on my daughter’s skin, and even soothes irritated areas like the diaper area because it contains colloidal oatmeal.  The lavender and vanilla scent helps to relax her even when she’s at her most fussy.

Step 2: After the bath, I pat her skin dry and gently massage Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Lotion into her skin while I sing “You are my sunshine.”  It contains the same soothing scents, and nourishes her skin all night long while she sleeps.  If her diaper area is red, I’ll rub a little bit of zinc oxide (I use Dessitin) over the inflamed area.  Then I’ll dress her in her pajamas.

Step 3: I read her 2-3 books while rocking in a chair in her nursery.

Step 4: I kiss her little lavender-scented forehead and tell her I love her as I lie her down to sleep.

AVEENO Baby CALMING COMFORT Bath

When combined with a warm bath, AVEENO Baby CALMING COMFORT Bath is clinically shown to calm and comfort a fussy baby, helping improve her well-being so she can sleep more restfully.

The lavender and vanilla mix are noticeable yet not over powering. It is a light mix that helps sooth the senses preparing baby for dreamland.

AVEENO STRESS RELIEF Foaming Bath

AVEENO STRESS RELIEF Foaming Bath when combined with a warm bath – is clinically shown to help improve well-being by calming and relaxing while leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturized.  The lightly foaming bath formula is soap-free and dye-free, so it’s even gentle enough for sensitive skin.  Pour into running water for a lightly foaming relaxing bath experience.

Just what the mommy ordered during the stressful holiday season. After a warm bath filled with AVEENO STRESS RELIEF Foaming Bath suds, your body will emerage softer and musles relaxed. Tension relief is a must have anytime of the year in my busy home of 6+.

AVEENO® STRESS RELIEF Moisturizing Lotion

This unique moisturizing formula helps your skin look beautifully soft and moisturized while also calming and relaxing as it is massaged into the skin.  Massage AVEENO STRESS RELIEF Moisturizing Lotion on after bathing, before bed or anytime you want to relax.

The next step in evening relaxation after steeping out of the tub or perhaps just the rub a dub those toes needed after a hard day. This non-greasy formula smells delightful and will leave your skin soft and tissue soothed for hours to come.

AVEENO ULTRA-CALMING Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15

AVEENO Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 contains Feverfew PFETM, a naturally calming ingredient related to Chamomile.  A resilient flower that withstands harsh weather conditions, it is truly a revolutionary breakthrough as the first in a new skin care ingredient class called AOI Boosters – a potent combination of anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatories with unprecedented breath and depth.   Feverfew was used historically to provide relief from migraines and stomach aches and research has proven that Feverfew calms redness and soothes irritation in dry and sensitive skin.

This is by far my favorite product from Aveeno and is now my go to winter moisturizer. Just a small amount spread evenly over my face is all I need to get rid of those pesky dry areas the Iowa fall/winter months bring. No more itchy skin shedding, scale eyebrows gone by-by. Even better it didn’t cost me $100 to get back to being me.

Another great daily addition to add to your skincare routine. Safe and effective!

AVEENO ULTRA-CALMING Makeup Removing Wipes

These gentle, soft wipes soothe and cleanse, removing dirt, oil, makeup and even mascara. Safe for everyday use and sensitive skin friendly. This oil-free formula contains ACTIVE NATURALS® Calming Feverfew™ to help leave sensitive skin feeling soothed & balanced. Noncomedogenic, dermatologist and  ophthalmologist tested.

The AVEENO ULTRA-CALMING Makeup Removing Wipes really brought back meaning to don’t knock it till you tried it. I am not a big makeup wearer; so when I do go all out I tend to have to scrub and scrub the mascara, blush, powder and more off till the point my shirt is nearly drenched. Had I know how well these worked, I would keep them on hand for those once a week moments when mommy gets her groove back. Seriously a must have in your cosmetics case.

Three lucky reader will receive a Mommy + Me Under the Tree Prize Package from AVEENO containing all 6 products seen above!

Giveaway ends December 12th at 11:59pm, open to US residents, ages 18+. To enter please use the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!
