There is something really special about being able to pull together a sweet treat fresh out of the oven without having to worry with a sink full of dishes to deal with afterwards. That is where the magic of the Betty Crocker Shake-N-Pour Dessert Mixes comes in handy. Simply add the liquid ingredients to the baking mix, close the lid and let the shaking begin. {Note: this is my daughter’s second most favorite part, closely following the eating of the delicious after product.} After you have mixed the ingredients via the shake, pour them into the prepared cupcake wrappers or cake pan. Bake, cool and then enjoy!
Truly for something as simple as the Betty Crocker Shake-N-Pour Dessert Mixes are to make, the cake and brownies that come out of the oven are so close to homemade. These are ideal for weeknight after-dinner desserts and quick enough to prepare when unexpected company arrives.
The best part of all, is not having anything more than the baking pan to wash when they are done. Even then that is only with the cupcakes. No beaters, no whisk, no bowls and no counter wipe-ups from batter spatter. A great tasting get-her-done dessert if I may say so!
