It wasn’t until recently that I became a fan of hot tea. I am southern born and the idea of words other than iced and sweet being associated with tea was foreign and downright odd. After my toddler was born, I began to crazy something different during my downtime. Only then did I discover the calming benefits of a good cup of hot tea. However last Christmas my tea knowledge too a hole new level when I was introduced to Mighty Leaf. Until then I had only ventured into the occasional cup of Earl Grey. Now my eyes are open to a fantastic world of possibilities and flavors.
To date my Mighty Leaf favorite is the Chamomile Citrus, a herbal tea is a refreshing infusion. It is a sip on hot tea. Not created for fast consumption making it idea for my mommy book and break time. Chamomile Citrus is made with Egyptian chamomile flowers and subtle slices of citrus fruit, this vibrant blend is as fragrant as it is a delight to the senses. This signature herbal tea infusion is kept in a silken tea pouch with gourmet teabag twist containing a perfected mixture of chamomile, fruits and herbs.
The Chamomile Citrus is a sweeter blend with no sugar required. In my experience, the Mighty Leaf selection comes in packages containing individually single serve teas. This process seems to keep the tea contained causing the flavors to remain as fresh as the day they were created for longer periods of time. Since I am the only one who currently drinks tea in my home, these are fantastic for my personal use.
The Mighty Leaf tea bag itself is a work of art. You can clearly see all the ingredients contained and the thread weave looks expensive {even though you can get a box of 15 in your favorite flavor for $9.95}.What I like best though about the tea bag makeup is the no nonsense tag. It states the blend, brew time and Mighty Leaf contact details. So even when I am feeling less than optimal, I can still brew some tea.
I also received a Tea Top Brew Mug from Mighty Leaf. While I currently do not take my tea to go often, I do find that it is a convenient way to brew my blend undisturbed. After all in a home with four young children and two overly active kittens, it is best to keep a lid on all things treasured and hot.
