Eating healthy has become a top priority in my home over the last year. To be completely honest, our busy lifestyle took over a few years back and we got comfortable with eating out, fast food and a super relaxed way of living and as you can image this caused weight gain and a household of not so active people. So when we finally took notice of what our lifestyle was doing to not only us as parents but also to our children, we started making changes. Cooking at home, walking daily and just being fun in everything, everyday has started a positive ripple effect that I overjoyed to see continue.
Smartwhite for Kids just launched this summer and offers a nutritional advantage with the taste and texture that kids love. It’s baked with no high fructose corn syrup and is only 50 calories per slice. Plus, it’s fortified with the fiber of 100% whole wheat bread, contains the calcium of an 8-ounce glass of milk and is a good source of nine essential vitamins and minerals.
Sadly in my local Waterloo/Cedar Falls area, Smartwhite for Kids is a little hard to find. However Wonder Smartwhite Bread is traditionally found on most local grocery shelves.
Here is a fantastic, kid-friendly Halloween breakfast idea that is super simple to create using Wonder Smartwhite for Kids.
