Wait, what’s FOMO?!

CBD gives your dog a calming feeling, helping them deal with all that life throws their way (with no chance of harmful side-effects). Say farewell to chewing stuff, urinating, and pacing.

FOMO stands for Fear of Missing Out. You might have heard of it as it relates to teens that just can’t miss a concert with their friends or crazed Black Friday shoppers who are terrified of missing out on that 47-inch TV from Walmart. The thing is, dogs can suffer from FOMO too. Only in their world, it’s probably better known as separation anxiety. Plenty of pups have got it, all too many owners think that it’s incurable. Which is where FOMO Bones come in. They contain CBD, which is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid derived from all-natural hemp. Don’t worry, it doesn’t contain THC! So you won’t have a stoned Shih Tzu on your hands.

FOMO Bones – Six Ways They’re Better Than a Ball/Boomerang Hybrid

1. Helps with separation and social anxiety

CBD gives your dog a calming feeling, helping them deal with all that life throws their way (with no chance of harmful side-effects). Say farewell to chewing stuff, urinating, and pacing.

2. Subsides aggression and depression

Yup, that’s right – dogs can suffer from depression. FOMO can help them dig their way out of the depths of doggy despair.

3. Helps with insomnia

Pup that loves to party – ALL, NIGHT, LONG? Dog that just won’t quit yapping once night falls? Insomnia is almost always linked to anxiety which interferes with your pooch’s ability to relax into restful sleep.

CBD has now been scientifically proven to stop dogs from waking up in the midst of the night due to anxiety. Helllloooo a good night’s sleep (for EVERYONE!)

4. Fights inflammation

CBD isn’t just a pain reliever, it can also help to soothe chronic inflammation – the kind that comes along with old age and arthritis, actively targeting the joints to provide relief.

5. Stimulates appetite

Whoever said that dogs are hungry 24/7, 365 days a year, obviously never met an angsty or ill doggy. When a dog goes off his food, something’s amiss. CBD can ease pain and alleviate digestive issues. Queue one hungry pup who’s once again eyeing up your din dins.

6. Helps with side effects from cancer treatments and major surgeries

CBD helps your dog to feel comfortable, even after treatment for serious medical issues and post-surgery. In fact, the use of CBD for pain relief dates ALL the way back to ancient China, and is today used for the treatment of common human conditions, like arthritis and back pain.

Five Ingredients That Pack a Powerful Punch

Passion Flower

Passion Flower is a booster of the feel-great chemical Gamma-Aminobutyric acid (or GABA, for less of a mouthful).

GABA is central to your dog being able to chillax, but it can be depleted when your dog faces ongoing stress.

L-Tryptophan

Ever get that post-Thanksgiving drowsiness? That’s not just down to overeating, it’s also something to do with a specific amino acid that can be found in turkey meat – L-Tryptophan.

Once in the bloodstream, L-Tryptophan produces serotonin (the happy hormone). Which is why we add it to our FOMO bones.

Did someone say scratch me on my belly, time for a happy nap?

Valerian Root

Valerian is a fabulous plant found out in nature that has mild sedative qualities (which is why its commonly used as a soothe-them-to-sleep aid).

This gift from Mother Earth is also well-known for its anti-anxiety capabilities.

Chamomile

Rest your head, it’s time for bed – chamomile tea is slurped upon the world over to help bring on the Zzzzs. And it works for dogs too.

All -natural CBD Isolate

CBD Isolate is cannabidiol (CBD) in its purest form. It’s odorless. It’s tasteless. And it’s the ultimate solution for your furry friend who’s got a constant case of the jitters.

  1. I agree….I am a foster carer to rescue dogs and see a lot who have the FOMO characteristic….good article with excellent tips

  2. I found this very interesting. I have a cat and I wonder if would be good for him.
    Thanks for the tip.

  3. Gosh I thought I commented on this one. I admit I have been curious about this. Our dog is blind and although confident, it might help when he is in new situations.

  4. This is interesting. I have considered CBD for our dog who is blind. The vet says it is alright. I will have to check and see if the other ingredients would mess with the insulin these sound terrific since he does get easily startled .
