St. Patrick’s Day Cake Pops

My daughter is a huge fan of time with mommy in the kitchen. One of her most requested items to make are cake pops. Darn you Starbucks for taking this idea and making it a national phenomenon. With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, we thought we could get a little festive with a white with sprinkles mix. Cute hua? Hope you enjoy!

Step 7: Place your bag of white candy melts into a bowl and put it in the microwave for one minute and then stir. Continue microwaving and stirring at 30 second intervals until the candy is completely melted.

Step 8: Place a cake pop stick into each of your cake pops, be sure not to stick it too far in or it will go through the top.

Step 9: Hold a cake pop over the bowl of candy melts and use a spoon to drizzle candy over each part of the cake pop. Gently shake the excess candy melts off the cake pop over the bowl and place it in a Styrofoam block to dry a little.
