Toy State Industrial is at it again and my newest must have for tough toddlers is the CAT Preschool Flash Light & Night Light. Unlike others that we have tied this is a solid one piece construction that does not have a need to open or lift. While some may see this as a flaw, I think it is what makes this piece long-lasting in the hands of toddlers and young children. No more worries of breaking it apart; just hand it over and let the fun begin.
Now the CAT Preschool Flash Light & Night Light is unique in that it offers three buttons that each have their own function. Note each of these are easy to push; my 20 month old has can navigate through them without my assistance. the top red button when pushed creates a honking sound and lights the front portion of the dump truck. The side red button lights the green found underneath the unit. These are also operated via timer located under the unit as well. You can select 15 sec, 60 sec or 10 min. Upon selecting this is how long the green lights will remain on after this button has been activated. Finally you have the grab button located under the handle. This activates the front light (no sound) and will remain in flashlight mode as long as the handle is pressed.
We trust Toy State and CAT products in our home. In fact I currently own more than a dozen pieces that my children enjoy on a weekly basis. For last-minute shoppers and beyond, I suggest the CAT Preschool Flash Light & Night Light for children ages 18 months and up. This is a safe, light weight toy that has no removable parts to worry about and can take a tumble and keep on rolling.
